Mike Cowan
A certified residential appraiser since the spring of 2013, Mike entered the real property appraisal industry in the fall of 2010, with Jason Mortimer as his supervising appraiser. Mike has a bachelor’s of science degree from Iowa State University with a minor in entrepreneurial studies. Previous work experience includes 3 years of management with a nationwide sporting goods retailer, allowing him and his wife the opportunity to travel around the country, and 3 years of experience as a sales manager for a local food service company. Always having an interest in real estate, lead Mike to pursue a career in real property appraising. Areas of specialty include Polk, Dallas, Boone and Story County, where Mike and his family currently reside. Mike is currently a Candidate of the Appraisal Institute and is an alumnus member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
